    For the Salisbury Steak:

    • 1½ lbs ground beef

    • ½ cup breadcrumbs

    • 1 large egg

    • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

    • 1 tsp garlic powder

    • 1 tsp onion powder

    • Salt & black pepper, to taste

    For the Mushroom Gravy:

    • 2 tbsp butter

    • 1 tbsp olive oil

    • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced

    • 1 small onion, sliced

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

    • 2 cups beef broth

    • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

    • Salt & black pepper, to taste

    1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4–6 oval patties.

    2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown patties on both sides. Remove and set aside.

    3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add mushrooms and onions and sauté until softened.

    4. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.

    5. Slowly whisk in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened.

    6. Return patties to the skillet. Cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes until cooked through.
