Experience the joy of cooking with our Heavenly Herb-Roasted Turkey Recipe. This centerpiece dish features a succulent turkey flavored with aromatic herbs and roasted to golden-brown perfection. It’s the star of any festive meal!

Ingredients
- 1 whole turkey (about 12 to 15 pounds), thawed if frozen
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 onions, quartered
- 1 lemon, halved
- 1 bunch of fresh herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, and sage)
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups of chicken broth

Instructions
- Preparation: Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Remove the turkey giblets and rinse the turkey inside and out. Pat it dry with paper towels.
- Season the turkey: Season the inside of the turkey with salt and pepper. Stuff it with the onions, lemon, and herbs.
- Roast the turkey: Place the turkey, breast side up, on a rack in a roasting pan. Brush the turkey with the melted butter and season it with salt and pepper. Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
- Bake: Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when measured in the thickest part of the thigh. Baste the turkey with the pan juices every 30 minutes.
- Rest and serve: Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before carving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the bird, resulting in a moist, flavorful turkey.
Tips
- You can cover the turkey with aluminum foil if it’s browning too quickly.
- For a crispier skin, you can increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
